FOWL CHOLERA

( Oil adjuvanted vaccine )

Description:

Vaccine contains the inactivated Pasteurella multocida cells, serotype A:1 in adjuvant of oil emulsion. Vaccine potency is high, duration of immunity is long-drawn.

Composition:

  • Each ml contains at least 10x109 CFU of inactivated Pasteurella multocida cells, serotype A:1.
  • Oil emulsion.

Indications:

For the active immunization to protect healthy poultry against Fowl cholera disease.

Contraindications:

Do not use for unhealthy poultry.

Administration and Dosage:

  • Before administration, allow the vaccine to warm to room temperature and shake well.
  • By subcutaneous injection at neck (1/3 of the lower part, behind neck).
  • Vaccination schedule:
    • Poultry from 25 days old or older: 0.5ml / head.
    • Breeder, layer: revaccinate every 9 months, 0.5ml / head.
    • Poultry in endemic regions:
      • Primary vaccination: from 10 to 15 days old, dose of 0.5ml / head.
      • Revaccination: 3 weeks later, 0.5ml / head.

Precautions:

  • 2 – 3 days before and after vaccination, should supply Navet-Vitamin C Antistress for stress decreasing and improve immunity adaptation.
  • Do not use vaccine bottles which are broken, unsealed, lost label, lost batch number – manufacture date – expiry date, expired, showed separation of the oil and aquaeous phases.
  • Use entire contents after opening.
  • Apply the usual aseptic procedures.

Shelf life:

18 months from manufacture date.

Packaging:

Multi-dose vial contains 20ml, 50ml, 100ml.

Storage:

Store at 2oC-8oC. Protect from light. Do not freeze.
